39charts is a fan-made Vocaloid song rankings site inspired by the classic NicoNicodouga ranking pages. It catalogs and ranks Vocaloid, SynthV, and UTAU songs that have reached significant view milestones on NicoNicodouga and YouTube.
The name "39" comes from the Japanese wordplay 三九 (san-kyu), meaning "thank you", a long-standing tradition in the Vocaloid community as a way of expressing gratitude to Hatsune Miku and the creators who built this world.
This site is a companion to the fan-made games on this domain: Vocaloid Heardle, a daily Vocaloid song guessing game, and Vocaloid Higher or Lower, a view-count comparison game that draws on the same view data you see here. All of these projects are fan-made and not affiliated with Crypton Future Media, Dwango / NicoNico, or any other rights holders.
Songs are ranked by their real view counts. Use the platform switch on the rankings to rank by NicoNicodouga views, YouTube views, bilibili views, or all platforms combined (the default). Songs without a live count fall back to their view tier, newest first within a tier.
Each song page shows the full per-platform breakdown: NicoNico views, comments, and mylists, YouTube views, likes, and comments, and bilibili views, likes, and comments, plus a combined total and an embedded player where the video allows it.
Songs also carry a "Hall" tier based on NicoNico views: Hall of Fame (100K+), Hall of Legends (1M+), Hall of Myths (10M+), and Hall of Gods (100M+), shown alongside the classic milestone badge below.
| Badge | Milestone | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 100M+ | 100 million views | All-time legendary status |
| 10M+ | 10 million views | Major viral hit |
| 1M+ | 1 million views | Widely popular |
| 100K+ | 100,000 views | Notable community song |
| 10K+ | 10,000 views | Hidden gem |
Live NicoNicodouga, YouTube, and bilibili counts are integrated.
Song metadata (titles, producers, vocalists, cover art, view tags, song types, languages, and accepted title variants) comes from VocaDB, a community-maintained database of Vocaloid music. VocaDB data is used under its terms of use.
Cover art is sourced from YouTube and NicoNicodouga via the URLs stored in VocaDB, and vocalist / producer avatars come from VocaDB artist pictures. All rights to artwork belong to their respective creators.

- View history graphs: daily view tracking on each song page. History can only be collected going forward from when the automated refreshes started, so graphs will fill in gradually.
- Weekly / monthly charts: time-based ranking slices once enough daily view history has accumulated.
- Producer view-over-time: real history on producer pages (currently a placeholder), built from the same collected data.
